Nanette's Corner

We are still looking for NON vet techs for message board moderators. This includes veterinary assistants, receptionists, kennel staff, etc. VSPN is YOUR community too and we want to have good representation for all aspects of the field and your expertise is needed! Please email me directly at Nanette@vspn.org and review this information. Thanks!

What's coming next year?!
2012 is upon us and it’s hard to believe the 20th anniversary year of VIN has now come and gone. VSPN’s double decade will be coming in a few years – based more on the re-launch of VSPN in the mid-1990’s rather than the initial formation of VSPN shortly after VIN appeared on the Internet. In the mean time – this year will have many official and new firsts including a broader database of content (on many levels), more new CE, VSPN Notebook® version 4.0, conference attendance with booths at 6 major USA conferences, and more. Stay tuned!

VSPN Library Highlights:

The New Year is upon us. Many clinics, hospitals, practices, and management teams will take this opportunity to reflect on 2011 and look at ways to improve the business and client services. Often the question is where to begin setting goals or refining protocol. Change can be challenging to the staff and clients. Nevertheless this is an important component of success and is what we all strive for. Over the years VSPN moderators and members have discussed ways to “bring in the new.” Although the following span a wide range of time, there are suggestions in each that can be applied to the present. We would like to challenge you all to read the following and share in the VSPN message boards the goals your clinic or you personally have set for 2012 and how you plan on implementing them.
